One of the key lessons young people can learn from Thevar’s life is the importance of resilience in the face of adversity. Throughout his life, Thevar faced significant personal and political challenges, including imprisonment and opposition from colonial authorities. Yet, he remained unwavering in his pursuit of justice and social reform, demonstrating how resilience and dedication to one’s principles can create lasting impact. For example Sri Thevarji  owned  a vast land covering  32 and a half villages in that part around Pasumpon, Tamil Nadu and donated most of them for a common cause. Being a  philanthropist, he donated  87,000 acres of lands to Dalits for their livelihood. Apart, he supported the entry of Dalits in Temples in those days.

Yet another his vital contribution  was removal of dragonian Criminal Tribes Act’ of 1871/CTA in South Tamil Nadu  introduced by the British after ending the Thuggee menace in North India. The criminals mercilessly killed tens of thousands of innocent travelers. The British included  some of the castes, tibes, etc in Tamil Nadu and they suffered  lot  when the act was in force.

Thevar’s close association with Netaji and the Forward Bloc underlines his commitment to India’s freedom struggle. His unwavering support for Bose during a troublesome period, even when it meant opposing more dominant political factions, showcased his courage to stand by his beliefs in Dharma and justice. For today’s youth, this is a powerful reminder to stay true to one’s ideals, regardless of prevailing trends or pressures and changing political scenario.

Furthermore, Thevar’s work towards eradicating caste-based discrimination and uplifting the oppressed speaks to the importance of social unity and inclusion. He exemplified how one can use their influence to fight for equality and create a society that respects all backgrounds and communities.

In a rapidly changing world, Thevar’s life teaches us that true leadership is rooted in compassion, fearlessness, and dedication to the collective good. His sacrifices remind the younger generation that patriotism goes beyond words; it requires action, resilience, and a commitment to justice and equality for all.
